    1. I love your series! aanzimg composition and quirky views throughout 🙂 Do you always use your D700 (I know this from flickr not a stalker, haha)? I’d love to do a FWIS project, but waiting till I have a smarter phone to do so 🙂

    1. The third time is a charm! I have attempted to go to try your ruatserant for dinner on 3 separate occasions. The first was a Monday night and a few months later a Tuesday night only to be disappointed to find I had again chosen a night that you were closed. Being Friday night I finally succeeded and am still in a state of bliss hours after eating at Berry Fresh Cafe. I can never recall trying not to moan or Ahhh after every bite of food ever in my life! Every taste, beginning with the Fire Cracker Crispy Shrimp shared as an appetizer to the Mediterranean Chicken and Pasta and finally to the warm apple cobbler with homemade mango and coconut ice cream, was as if I had discovered Shangra La and Eutopia wrapped in one. I am still trying not to melt from all of those phenomenal flavors.I am already studying the take out menu planning my next gourmet meal perhaps breakfast next time at my now all time favorite ruatserant.Thank you! Until we meet again,Carol A. Ryan

  1. Nice previews. Very “Nell”-like and October Sky. Beautiful Mark. I was wondering, when does something new from Mark appear..Waiting for CD though. I’m not such an I-Tunes guy.
    Kind Regards from the Netherlands.

    1. Dear Dr. Kristi,My coworker alywas wants to play chess, chat about some cool web site, or show me some youtube video when I am trying to work. How do I nicely either tell them to let me work, or quickly put up with their interrupting banter.

    2. Hello to the good people of Berry Fresh, eslceiaply les demoiselle Marieline et Sylvie! We always feel so welcomed when we come in for Breakfast and look forward to all the friendly faces. The coupons help too since we are a couple with 2 kids in college! Oops! I mean one child in college! Our Daughter Amy JUST graduated from the U. of No. Fla. with her Master’s Degree and is employed as a Counsler in Psychology to troubled children. The good food, friendly service and reasonable prices bring us back every week-end!

    1. This is so awesome! Love this idea!!! Can I ask, what lens are you using? I’m asmsuing it’s the same focal length each day.You have cute feet! :)Also, are you just adding to the post every day? Or are you doing a chunk of photos at one time in a single post, then doing another chunk later?

    2. I am searching for an old photo which you may have pulbished. It was provided by Maringi Osbourne and information and names provided by Ngai Tahu archives . the photo is of girls at te waipounamu college in 1911. there is a reference number ISSN 1175-2483 Of interest to me are the photos of 4 Taiaroa girls and the Walscott sisters can you help me . thank you

  3. There is a sad irony that while Mr Isham is a proponent of artists’ rights, the US – only release will encourage piracy.

  4. Hi Gretchen! I’m doing 4 at a time, because I’m sltuimaneously adding them to Flickr, and didn’t want to overwhelm my Flickr stream with photos of my feet 🙂 And yes, I’m using my 28 everyday to try to get some continuity with the placement of my feet. In hindsight, I probably should have used my 20mm, but it’s manual focus (old lens from my Dad) and not sure I’d always want to focus manually! Thanks for the nice comments 🙂
