Recently, Mark traveled to Spain as this year’s honorary President of the 2012 Cordoba Film Music Festival.
The festival was a great success, and included other guest composers Blake Neely (The Mentalist), Chris Young (Ghost Rider), Murray Gold (Doctor Who), Trevor Morris(The Borgias), Cliff Martinez (Drive), and Ludovic Bource (The Artist). Mark’s scores for Once Upon A Time, Warrior, and Dolphin Tale were performed by an orchestra in Cordoba, and attendees had the opportunity to talk with all of the composers present.
“It was a great honor to act as President at the Cordoba Film Music Festival this year. Not only was the festival a great success and the beauty of Spain on full display, but the people in attendance, both composers and fans alike, were absolutely wonderful. I am proud to have been a part of it. I’d also like to thank and congratulate the excellent executives and staff at FIMCC – BSO Spirit, David Doncel and the whole team as well as the Cordoba Cultural and Arts Office” – Mark Isham
