Directed by veteran director, Curtis Hanson (Best Director nominee for LA Confidential), In Her Shoes is a film based on the beloved bestselling novel by Jennifer Weiner. It’s a romantic comedy about two sisters, one an irresponsible party girl (Cameron Diaz- Charles Angels) and the other an ambitious attorney (Toni Collette- The Sixth Sense), who clash when they move in together. This movie also stars the timeless Shirley MacLaine as the grandmother they never knew they had.

When Mark was asked about the technical aspect of this score, here’s what he had to say. “This score was designed for a unique band of musicians, which includes, guitars, cello, marimba, vibes, piano, harpsichord, percussion, bass and drums. A small chamber string group joins in from time to time. The music follows this story, which is both tremendously funny and heartbreaking at the same time.”
