Mark teamed up once more with Jodie Foster for Nell and provided the score for this film about a woman, raised in the woods by a reclusive mother, who adopts a language all her own. Jodie fells it’s the best soundtrack she’s ever heard. “It is filled with longing and mystery with the kind of deep lyrical melodies that speak of nature and innocence,” Foster said. “I believe Mark Isham has found a new musical language in Nell befitting the film’s protagonist. A language that is all his own and yet so familiar”
