In another great reunion, Mark again worked with Robert Redford for the film Quiz Show. Their first project together, A River Runs Through It was very successful and earned Mark an Academy Award nomination and a Grammy Award nomination. When asked about his collaboration with Lyle Lovett (the first song on the soundtrack album features Lyle’s vocals on the song “Moritat”), Mark replied “It was a real hoot.”

Quiz Show’s score is great Big Band Jazz, and features a lot of solo trumpet. Ralph Fiennes stars as Charles VanDoren, a Columbia University teacher who became the champ of a popular television game show in 1958 after producers actually fed him the answers. Other stars include Rob Morrow and John Turturro.
